Sofamore Furniture – Warranty & Store Policies

At Sofamore Furniture, we are committed to providing quality furniture and exceptional customer service. We stand behind the products we sell and will work with you to resolve any concerns as quickly and fairly as possible.

Limited One-Year Warranty

Sofamore Furniture provides a one-year limited warranty to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects under normal residential use. This warranty is non-transferable.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in furniture frames

  • Premature cracking, peeling, or warping of wood finishes resulting from manufacturing defects

  • Defective mechanisms in sofa beds, recliners, gliders, and reclining sectionals

  • Defective electronic components such as built-in speakers, lighting systems, and wireless charging ports

  • Stitching failures and seam separations caused by manufacturing defects

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, improper care, or unauthorized repairs

  • Fading, discoloration, or damage caused by sunlight, heat, moisture, or environmental conditions

  • Normal wear and tear associated with everyday use

  • Softening, compression, or settling of foam and cushions over time

  • Minor variations in colour, texture, wood grain, finish, or dimensions

  • Damage occurring during customer-arranged transportation, delivery, or installation

  • Commercial or business use of residential furniture

Delivery & Damage Claims

We encourage customers to inspect all items upon delivery.

If your furniture arrives damaged or has a concealed manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs whenever possible.

Claims reported within this period will be reviewed promptly. If a manufacturing defect or delivery-related damage is confirmed, Sofamore Furniture will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide another appropriate resolution at no additional cost.

Clearance, Floor Models & As-Is Merchandise

Items sold as Clearance, Floor Model, Final Sale, or As-Is are sold in their existing condition and are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or warranty coverage.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase without penalty, provided the order has not been delivered, picked up, or entered production.

After 48 hours, cancellation requests may be subject to an administration fee of up to 10% of the purchase price to cover processing and order preparation costs.

Special-order and custom-order items cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has begun.

All Sales Final

To help customers make informed purchasing decisions, we encourage reviewing product dimensions, materials, finishes, and specifications before placing an order.

Due to the nature of furniture products and the handling involved in delivery and installation, all sales are final once merchandise has been delivered or picked up.

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available for reasons including:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal preference

  • Comfort preference

  • Colour, texture, or finish variations that are not manufacturing defects

  • Incorrect measurements taken by the customer

  • Furniture that cannot fit through doorways, hallways, staircases, elevators, or other access points

Furniture photographs are intended to represent products as accurately as possible; however, colours, textures, and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting conditions, screen settings, and individual device displays.

If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered under our warranty, Sofamore Furniture will work promptly to provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with this policy.

Furniture Fit & Accessibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased furniture can be safely delivered through doorways, hallways, staircases, elevators, and other access points before delivery.

Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions.
